Falls Church, VA October 19, 2006
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has invited Joelle Guy, Manager of China Accounts at Odell, Simms and Associates, Inc. (OSA) to join a panel of experts speaking at a series of seminars across China in November 2006. The seminars will take place in Beijing, Shaoxing in the Zhejiang Province and Wuhan in the Hubei Province from November 20-27, 2006.
The seminars will address current trends in North American investment into China and discuss methods for successfully developing investment promotion strategies. Other speakers at this event will include Linda Dodd-Major, an immigration attorney and former Director of INS’ Business Liaison Office, and Mark R. Williams, a Partner at DLA Piper LLP.
“We strongly believe in the importance of producing high-quality informative events for our members, which create a forum for our experts to share innovative ideas and proven methods,” said Danqing Zhang, the North American Representative of CCPIT. “Due to her extensive experience working with Chinese economic development agencies and her knowledge of the North American market, Ms. Guy was an obvious choice for this year’s panel.””

For over 10 years OSA has represented a variety of clients in China including the Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, the Changshu Economic Development Zone, the Dongli District of Tianjin, and the Wujin District of Changzhou.
